“Brand of Empire” explores the complex relationship between imperial power and the construction of identity through branding, symbolism, and cultural influence. This study examines how empires—both historical and modern—have utilized branding strategies to assert authority, legitimize control, and shape the perceptions of both the colonized and the colonizers. Drawing on interdisciplinary approaches from cultural studies, postcolonial theory, and political history, the research investigates the ways in which symbols, language, and visual narratives serve as tools of domination and persuasion. By analyzing case studies ranging from the British Empire’s visual propaganda to contemporary forms of soft power in global politics, this paper reveals how empires craft identities not only through force, but through the strategic use of cultural branding. Ultimately, the work argues that the legacy of imperial branding continues to influence global dynamics, national identities, and cultural memory in the postcolonial world.
