Shine is a young adults romance novel published in 2020 by Korean-American singer Jessica Jung. The book was published by Simon & Schuster on September 29, 2020 and instantly became a New York Times Bestseller, debuting at #5 on the Young Adult Hardcover list. Jung is a former member of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, inspired to write a book based on his experiences as a K-pop trainee and idol, after spending approximately 13 years working in the industry. This novel will tell the story of Rachel Kim's journey during her time as a trainee which is shared in the book will give an idea of how hard the effort must be put in by someone, before finally being able to debut as a K-Pop idol as you can see now.
