The writing guide series aims to inspire and motivate children as writers by using creative approaches. Each writing guide contains activities and photocopiable resources designed to develop children’s understanding of a particular genre (for example, fairy stories). The activities are in line with the requirements of the National curriculum and the recommendations in the primary framework for literacy. The teacher resources books are accompanied by a CD-ROM containing a range of interactive and resources. Each book is devided into four sections: using good examples, developing writing, writing, and review.
