“Not every ****** has a ****** story. But almost every ****** has an ‘I’m not sure, I didn’t like it, but I can’t quite call it rape’ story.” Okay I know that many readers found this book annoying and some think that it doesn’t live up to the hype, but I enjoyed it much. It’s entertaining; it gives me a rough idea about the publishing world from the pov of some writers, I like how the two main characters have so many questionable traits (we are meant to ****** them, obv), and I certainly dig the racial privilege arguments. I guess I started off my 2025 reading journey with the right book.
