This book gives me insights into how to tailor Heidegger’s philosophical ideas about 'Being' and truth, and it's correlation with current circumtances where most people in our society currently are bombarded with information due to the rapid development of media technology. I also learned and got insights into how media can shape individuals’ perceptions through events' representation and mediation. Meaning, what we see in the media is merely a representation of events—not the whole story or ‘reality’ itself. It’s a great book, though it takes time to digest in order to develop a better interpretation and understanding.
