Reading this book requires focus. One piece of advice from me: don't rush. You need your focus to understand the novel and try to interpret what the author even means." Here's my interpretation: The encounter between Seon and Hae-ya brings something for both of them. Even though I'm still wondering whether their encounter is real or imagination, I try to believe that they met on the ship, but somehow the author describes it in a poetic way. From this encounter, Seon feels something different; he notices a strange feeling in which he starts to love Hae-ya. This ****** has become his confidante. However, I noticed Hae-ya decided to go (in this novel, it is described that Hae-ya went to the sea). From this experience, Seon needs to start to wholeheartedly let Hae-ya go. After missing Hae-ya, Seon finally notices that by playing music, he can make peace with the condition and can see Hae-ya through the music. Key Lesson: From this novel, I imply that we need to learn to make peace with hurtful conditions, such as missing our beloved person, and try as much as we can to stay alive, since life must go on.
